Histoni ry is the student organization (i.e. guild) of biochemistry students in Oulu. The purpose of the guild is to represent the interests of biochemistry students and organize events for its members. These events include movie- and game nights, sports shifts, excursions and parties with other student guilds. Traditional yearly events include f.ex. the pre-Christmas party and a feedback day with the faculty.
Histoni is open for all biochemistry students. The joining-fee is 40€ for bachelors degree students, 10€ for masters students, and 5€ per year for international students. New members are officially accepted in board meetings.
Histoni ry is an NGO and does not pursue profit.
